It is a dwarf shrub of 10 to 30 cm, with rigid and woody stems, its leaves are narrow and tiny, the flowers can be white to purple and are grouped in spikelets or terminal clusters very dense.

It goes very well with vegetables, eggs, pork, lamb, fish and game. It is very resistant so it can withstand long cooking times.

Add thyme to soups, stews, stews, marinades, tortillas or scrambled eggs. You can also add whole twigs to the casseroles to give it more flavor. A tasty idea is to sprinkle thyme leaves and sea salt on the potatoes before grilling. About red meats and fish.
